Sheriff's office investigating early morning theft near Erwinville/Port Allen

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH — The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a dump trailer that was stolen early Friday morning from the Highway 190 corridor in the Erwinville/Port Allen area.

Incident Details

The theft occurred in the early morning hours along Highway 190 between Erwinville and Port Allen. The stolen trailer was taken by suspects driving a vehicle without license plates.

The trailer's owner, Samantha Scioneaux Moses, has filed a report with the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office and is asking the community for assistance in locating the stolen equipment.

The stolen trailer is described as a black 14-foot Maxx-D dump trailer with one side board. The trailer was brand new at the time of the theft.

Vehicle Description

Authorities are seeking information about a vehicle without license plates that was used in the theft. Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about its whereabouts is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
