In Donaldsonville, the Independence Day Celebration runs from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Crescent Park, featuring live music and fireworks to cap off the evening.
New Roads in Pointe Coupee Parish offers a unique twist with their Golf Cart and Side-by-Side Parade on July 4th at 7:00 p.m. The parade lineup begins at the New Roads Library and ends at Morrison Parkway, with participants encouraged to play music and throw goodies along the route. Town of Brusly: Under Town of Brusly Article 1 Section 8-3, fireworks may only be discharged within town limits during designated windows:
- July 3: 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (July 4)
- July 4: 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (July 5)
The Brusly Police Department reminds residents that any fireworks discharged outside these time windows are subject to confiscation.
Town of Addis: Fireworks are allowed within city limits on the Fourth of July.
City of Port Allen: No popup fireworks are allowed within city limits. This is particularly important for those attending the July 4th Fest downtown.
Unincorporated WBR areas: Fireworks are generally permitted in unincorporated areas of the parish.
