PORT ALLEN – Three people were injured Thursday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 415 near Rosedale Road, according to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred Thursday afternoon, Nov. 6, at the intersection of Highway 415 (Lobdell Highway) and Rosedale Road.
All three injured people were transported to local hospitals. The extent of injuries has not been released.
West Baton Rouge Fire Department crews responded to the scene, with Medic 1 and Medic 2 transporting patients. Two patients required extrication from vehicles.
Images from the scene showed significant damage to at least one passenger vehicle and commercial trucks carrying pallet loads.

The scene has been cleared and the roadway is now open.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
